Mission

REACH, A Dance Theater Collective is dedicated to preserving the roots of jazz while pushing it to evolve. Its commitment to truthful story telling through the language of movement and music is its driving force. The utilization of the dancers strength, emotion and sensuality is at the core of every step, piece and performance. REACH was founded by Maria Konrad as a workshop project in 2005. After an overwhelming response to her explosive and expressive choreography and unique sense of music, the company was founded in 2007.

REACH's dancers have a sophisticated sensuality as well as a gleeful sense of fun and a domineering intensity. Its repertoitre pays homage to jazz, modern, ballet, funk and ethnic dance. Its dancers are as diverse as its repertoire, coming from many different dance worlds - ballet, modern, post modern, jazz, commercial and ethnic. They have one common trait - Passion.
